We had a great time camping this weekend. It's good to get away for a few days.

 We even got THIS close to a deer. They've become tame with people trying to feed them.

 Paul had a great time too and had his first s'more EVER.

Freaky Friday

Paul always calls my end of the week posts my "Freaky Friday" posts, so there's that. It's been a slow week, but not a slow week at the same time. Know what I mean?

This week we took Paul's nephews to the fair.

 You tell me who's the kid.

We've been utilizing our whole/organic grocer more and more lately and I've fallen in love with Van's waffles. So good.

 I've also been sipping on some seasonal beers. A friend of mine brought back some Pumking, which isn't distributed here. Love that taste of fall!

Mid Week Wrap Up

We had a busy couple of days, but we've been loving the fall weather. Open doors, fall meals, and sweater... love it all! Last Saturday we went to the Town Creek Art Festival at the Mississippi Museum of Art. The weather could not have been more perfect.

 We've also been working on new recipes, including these Sweet Potato Crisps. We will definitely be making these again.

 We also made Philly Cheesesteak Stuff Peppers. These were incredible!

Now that we have a Crockpot, I can't wait for cold days and soups.

The Week of Crazy

It's been an absolutely crazy week!

But, we've been busy throughout. Last Saturday we weathered the rain and went to Wellsfest.

 Made tasty dinners

 Tried the donut burger again at the Fair (trust me, it's good)

 Had to try to the fried mac and cheese

And enjoyed all the lights of the fair from the top of the ferris wheel!
