I guess this warrants a second post, so here it goes.
My last week of my internship (this past week) I worked on a story about Gov. Barbour and the controversy over pardoning a handful of (and possibly more) prisoners sentenced to life sentences for murders (4 out of 5 were domestic).
Well, the story Ronni and I wrote was mentioned in a story on CBSnews.com .
"The Jackson Free Press noted this week that Barbour has granted pardons to five other killers this year, at least two of whom were (like Graham) convicted of killing former or current girlfriends."
It's really cool to see that my work is making a difference not only in local pools but nationally as well.
